Charitable Giving

For the sixth year in a row, the coaching program partners up with United Way to participate as a sponsor for the Sub-for-Santa program.

As other corporations were busy with end of year taxes, analyzing budgets and planning for the New Year, the staff at the coaching program was busy planning, organizing, wrapping and delivering gifts as this year marked the third year in a row they participated in the Sub-for-Santa program.

The coaching program employees were given $100 to purchase 2 new items of clothing, 2 new toys and 1 book for each of the sponsored Sub-for-Santa children. “It was awe inspiring to witness many employees not only take the time to shop for gifts for their sponsored child but to see them go over the $100 and use personal funds to ensure their child received all that they asked for,” states Lisa Adams, employee of the coaching program. “It’s magical, really. These selfless acts are the true meaning of Christmas.”

After 250+ presents were wrapped and 50 stockings filled, the coaching program’s support team set out to deliver a little Christmas cheer to 11 Sub-for-Santa families. One family, whose sole provider was laid off, decorated a cute snowman and on it they wrote, “Thanks for making my kids wish come true. Thank you all for helping us, God bless you all. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”

It takes a lot of work and cooperation to pull this off and yet the coaching program staff is looking forward to doing it again next year.
